All four panelists are clinical hygienists and laser educators with a passion for laser dentistry.

Navigating the Roadblocks for Your Hygiene Practice Post-COVID 19

This course is designed to introduce the novice laser user or experienced laser user to the safety concerns that go with laser utilization, it is intended to give the participant a basic understanding of the principles necessary to assure safe use of lasers. Learn to understand how it is important to understand these concepts before just picking up your laser and using it.

  • Recognize the different wavelengths and how to find the proper laser safety glasses

  • Evaluate your Laser eyewear and determine if they are in good working condition

  • Understand what the responsibilities are of the Laser Safety Officer

Effective Communication in Your Dental Practice

This course is designed to compare 4 different approaches for dental hygiene laser procedures.  It is intended to give the participant basic parameters for the effective use of lasers in the dental hygiene practice.  Come learn how to successfully incorporate lasers into nearly every patient visit.

  • Understand laser procedures for the dental hygienist
  • Identify which dental procedures are suited to different laser wavelengths
  • Review four different protocols for dental hygiene laser procedures
  • View and review videos and case studies for dental hygiene laser procedures

Methodology - The one-hour live on-line course will be divided into fifty minutes of lecture and ten minutes of a live question and answer session.  Along with the lecture, videos and case studies will highlight the different dental hygiene laser procedures.
