The ALD provides a variety of education formats to suit the needs of members and those that may approach the organization for assistance.

Since the inception of our organization changing cultures and economic factors have influenced decisions that are being made with regard to laser purchases and educational choices. The ALD offers courses that will fulfill multiple needs. ALD's Continuing Education Programs continue to offer the profession comprehensive information that represents the standard of care for those that treat patients.

The ALD maintains its recommendation that all who use lasers for patient care strive to obtain a minimum of ALD Standard level certification. This Certificate program serves as the core of dental laser education. However, other courses may better satisfy the needs of the dental community, laser manufacturers, or the individual dental practitioner desiring specific subject material. A wide range of courses is available.
