Description : This is a truly unique course for the dentist experienced in surgical placement of implants and bone grafting techniques. The doctor attending will see a video and a live demonstration of the sinus lift surgery. Then the doctors will work in teams to perform the sinus lift procedure on their own patients. Day one is a full day of surgery. Patients will be seen on the following day for a post op evaluation by all doctors.

Lasers are used for over 25 applications in dentistry. This hands-on course will have a wide variety of dental lasers used for soft tissue and hard tissue applications. In a balanced manner, this course combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on exercises in most laser wavelengths available in today's market. Participants will learn about laser devices, laser delivery systems, laser tissue interaction and gain experience in gingivectomy, gingivoplasty, sulcular debridement, incision, excision, ablation and coagulation of soft tissues. Participants will also be able to complete pit and fissure cavity preparation, and osseous crown lengthening in a simulation environment using porcine jaws. This course presents an opportunity for participants to learn about the wide variety of lasers available for dental applications.
